Frank Mignone

VP of Operations & Art Director

While attending the University of Central Florida for Aerospace Engineering, Frank Mignone worked with Florida Space Institute and NASA on the pre-planning for future manned missions to Mars. Working directly with Dr. Nadine Barlow, Mr. Mignone helped author documents to assist engineers in designing ground support equipment capable of proper function in extraterrestrial environments, specifically those of the Moon and Mars.

Over the next several years, Mr. Mignone continued to author articles and sections for educational textbooks for the Gale Group. During this time, his previous experience with Engineering CAD led to the experimentation with using 3D art techniques to modify existing games as simulations.

Identifying the need for additional skill sets to continue this pursuit, Mr. Mignone enrolled in the computer animation degree program at Full Sail University. In 2008, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation. In addition to graduating valedictorian, Mr. Mignone was awarded course director awards for Traditional Art, Character Design and Creation, Game Art Creation, Visual Effects, Compositing and Scene Finishing and Demo Reel Creation.

Following graduation, Mr. Mignone gained employment at the Harrington Group as a 3D artist and compositor, handling 3D asset creation, tracking, scene integration and compositing.
